What is FLV?

Crop the video and add watermark to the video

Click on “Crop” button and you can crop the size of the video to determine what content is to be shown:

You can also add a watermark to the output file by checking box for watermark.

Browse a picture for your watermark if it is the first time for you to use the function. And the program may save the latest action you have taken and keep the picture you have chosen for future use. Besides, you can set other parameters for the watermark.

If you select multiple files for conversion, you cannot crop size of the video, but you can still add the same watermark for all the files.

Note: please do not forget to specify a file folder for your output converted PSP file in this step.

Change the Output Settings

Click “Settings” and you could start to adjust the settings of the FLV for your output to play on iPod. Select “MP4” in the “Export Type” and under the “Sub-type” pull-down, select “iPod”:

You can also choose one existing output format profile provided by the program with “iPod Video”, The profiles preset by the system in the field “Select a Profile” are the commonly used one.

If you select multiple files at once, you should click the “Apply” button on the bottom-right corner to apply the adjustment you just made for the selected files.

Start conversion

Click “Convert” to start to convert the files on the file list to the output folder.

Transfer videos onto iPod

After the successful conversion, you may watch movies and videos on iTunes or Quicktime Player. But how to transfer the video files you converted on your iPod? Here is the way:

1) Drag the iPod video files converted into your iTunes library, or select "Add File to Library" from the "File" menu and select the MP4 videos.

2) Drag the file onto the iPod logo in the iTunes and then release the mouse when "+" appears around the cursor. The file will be transferred to iPod automatically.
